In an environment of heightened investor activism in Canada, this case examines the theory that contrasted with their male social group; women are the likely winners of tough problems at the board. Interviews with five female managers provide insight into every one of their board conflicts.

Through the comprehensive enactment of their various narratives, their championing attempts being prompted by the preconditions as well as the method of the way that their fellow managers employed are presented, providing the possibility to recognize differences and the commonalities between them.
