Some aspects of the diversity of the Board of Directors of the company have generated attention focused participation, position, and the promise of service of women in the generated advice, especially in recent years. Of particular interest is the extent to which women on boards of large enterprises (eg Fortune 500). Increasing levels of participation have been described as glacial. While critics denounce the level of participation of women in the scale of business advice, careful examination suggests substantial progress. Along with a steady increase in the overall participation of women on boards are increasing their presence in the committees of the Board of Directors Key. Especially the women leadership of key board committees and their service as directors lead has improved in parallel with increased participation in counseling. These increases are particularly noticeable in the post-Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) period. These trends suggest continued progress of women to assume important positions in the landscape of business management and provide evidence that the increasingly difficult in the post-SOX environment has not decreased gain recognized in the pre-SOX period.
