What Are the Logics Driving Your Firm Case Solution & Answer

All organizations have some kind of institutional logic that defines what is assumed and what is an appropriate or legitimate behavior. Most banks, for example, tend to be driven by a financial logic based on profit maximization, which has served the shareholders, but if carried to an extreme, can have negative effects, as evidenced by the crisis. Based on extensive research, the author conducted in entrepreneurship in the United States and the green community bank Almandoz found that the higher the proportion of the founding directors with financial expertise and banking, it is more likely that founding teams are pursuing these objectives profit maximization rather than demonstrating a significant commitment to the community, who do not hesitate in its commitment to create a bank, and to leave the team for selfish reasons. While banks try to redeem themselves in the light of the reckless bad management that has destabilized the entire world economy, the author draws several lessons for the creation of a new community bank, serving as reminders to any company that seeks to reconcile its mission with the needs of customers while reactivation of vital and sustainable communities.
