VFC’s main goal is to assist low income families in owning vehicles so they are able to get financial freedom. The majority of the vehicles VFC given to low income families were donated. An attachment to its budget, VFC also set-up a second-hand car sales business labelled Freedom Wheels (FW) which soon turned out to be a successful enterprise.

At the approaching board meeting, so, Schwartz’s main challenge was to present an evaluation of the possible impact on the automobile prize system of enabling FW to keep more of its gains, and to advocate what percentage of its own gains FW ought to be permitted to keep.
