Tips to Foster Ownership in Your Organization Case Solution & Answer

Psychological property – strong emotional ties and a shared sense of mission and purpose that cause workers to identify closely with their business sense – can give companies a competitive advantage if they understand the roots of these feelings and how to develop. To see how this phenomenon affects the performance of family firms, the authors conducted a qualitative study of the various family businesses of different sizes, settings and sectors. They focused on the factors that promoted or undermined the health development, the achievement of the relationship between the members of the next generation and the family business. Their results suggest that factors such as shared experiences, participation in governing bodies, in a structured and planned in the entry way of business, a sense of empowerment and participation opportunities all support the development of a balanced sense of ownership within the organization and contribute to sustainable business performance. Qualities that boost productivity and performance – this article practical things that companies can do to sow the seeds of psychological ownership, so finally harvest accountability, passion, initiative and creativity are listed.
