DESIGN

PURPOSE

The goal of implementing PTP process is to bring improvement in the cost, quality, and time of such practices as introducing new products and service, client service and order controlling. The purpose of designing this process is to analyze the positive improvement in the organization. To evaluate the firm’s performance with other organization and to analyze that how will they are performing in the marketplace. CONTEXT The process identifies the consumers, merchants, effort, and production development. They need the process which isalready known by the customers and all must be agreed upon it. The manager and other executives who designed that process have set expectation to the process regarding the performance improvement. The system evaluates that the process which is provided to the   customers must meet their criteria or improve enterprise performance.

DOCUMENTATION

The documentations basically identifythe relationship among the other enterprise which is made in order to run the process. It is compulsory for starting any business process. The firm maintains the end to end course design. In this document, the organization highlights the main key performance indicators, hopes, rules and regulation, activities regarding the project process. The digital process design evaluated the performance and allow the firms to appraise the changes that will be made by the organization through this process design.

PROCESS MODEL

The confirmation of order delivery detailwill be provided to the customers, architecture and contractors through digital services such as mobile phones, note books, and web mails. The process model focuseson quality not on quantity.Both team A and B are responsible for managing the changes that are required in order to evaluate the success of organization.

INTEGRATION The teams analyze by using the integrated package SAP, AG the German corporation practiced a high level of growth so this package program will be more suitable for the Heatway. Heatway was the first corporation which used SAP in itsorganization but in other organizations SAP was the dominant supplier. In an organization everyone is satisfiedwith the program and said that doing investment in this securities would be good for us. The vice president had doubts on implementing the new process PTP.

 

CONCERS OF ENTERPRISE
The problem that is highlightedin this case is that in an organization there are some conflicts between the management groups. Bob Hemphill is the vice president of the organization and he is interested in developing the new process of PTP in theorganization in order to improve the performance level of the organization. He demanded Firestoneto invest $35 million on this project for implementing the new IT architect and new philosophy however;the issuewas that Firestonewas ready to spend just $15 million into the projects. Therefore, Hemphill decided that theyneed to make some strategies through which they can maintain theirfinancial funding and not sacrificetheir revenues.

The other issue was implementing the SAP software because these software are so expensive and it cost so high. Moreover, the new development process was so expensive and its cost wasaround $150 million whichis not under the range of the organization. The following are the issues which the organization faced:

  • The implementation of new process was not easily adoptable for some employees
  • The cost of implementing the model, software and system was too high and company facing lack of financial resources.
  • Funding for PTP
  • They have been facing difficulties in evaluating as tohow they will manage time of implementing the PTP model.
