An effective leader always communicates the corporate goals to his followers efficiently and effectively in order to align the individual goals of the employees with the corporate goals efficiently and effectively.
Thus, due to lack of leadership in the organisation, the employees of the organisation are unaware of the corporate goals, which limit the fulfilment and achievement of the corporate goals effectively.
Hostile Working environment:
An effective leader makes his back breaking efforts in order to create a friendly working environment for the employees of the company. Thus, lack of effective leadership in the organisation deteriorates the overall working environment of the company and makes a more hostile working environment. Thus, this also affects negatively in the interest of the company.
Effective leaders are continuously engaged in effective business communication with theirfollowers as well as they also develop a culture of harmony and trust among the employees where the employees coordinate and communicate their queries with each other in order to perform their work efficiently and effectively.

I have been currently appointed as a manager in a mid-sized business corporation where few of the above mentioned problems exist due to lack of leadership. Thus, in order to overcome such issues, I would do the following:
I would identify and resolve the rising conflicts among the employees of the organisation by using various conflict resolution techniques such as third party negotiations. This would decrease the overall conflicts among the employees, which would enhance the overall efficiency of the performance of the employees. Moreover, this would also help in creating a friendly and healthy working environment.
Communication of corporate goals effectively:
I would communicate the corporate goals to the employees of the company in order to align the corporate goals of the company with the individual goals of the employees. Thus, this would help in effective accomplishment and achievement of the corporate goals of the company.
Motivating the employees:
I would motivate the employees of the company by providing various monetary and non- monetary incentives to the employees as well as including them in the decision making process as this would also enhance their overall motivational level as well as it would also enhance their overall level of commitment towards their job.
