Community Partners companies must determine whether to rebuild housing projects Lafitte hurricane devastated New Orleans, and if so, how to mitigate risks. Located in January 2007, more than a year after Hurricane Katrina, the case looks at how the company has a number of environmental, contractual risks, reputational, legal and overcome to make the project a success. Given these risks, the company is not sure if rebuilding New Orleans at all, and whether to renovate or redevelop the site into a mixed-income community.
