As increased pressure on public budgets lead to austerity measures, a growing number of protesters, vigilante groups of companies and policymakers are shining the light on the global corporate tax evasion. Actual and proposed information of the entity and the country will remove the veil of secrecy and tax inevitably require greater regulatory control and tax authority. This information could also lead to stories of overwhelming first flat and, ultimately, reform the tax code. This first wave of accounting problems seem to fiscal transparency could mean for U.S. multinationals in the years ahead. The article concludes with recommendations for agents and owners to manage risk strategies and reputation imposed by U.S. and international planning.
