Cooperative Union Ltd. Madurai District Milk Producers also known as Madurai Aavin Dairy Milk (the MAMD) was one of the largest dairies in the southern part of Tamil Nadu, India. One of the main activities of the supply chain was Mom farmers supplying milk and also to provide the necessary technical facilities to input. The acquisition was carried out through the formation of cooperative societies levels milk producers villages (PPM). Raw milk farmer near Madurai Aavin is declining, while demand increases. Several strategies are being explored by Aavin to meet demand for its main product, “raw milk.” Aavin face two challenges: 1. Forecasting the demand for milk and high quality 2. Meet demand in an optimal way to maximize your profit.
