A patent attorney and amateur carpenter with a doctorate in physics has invented a new technology to prevent table saw injuries – especially amputations. He has no desire to make table saws, and instead protect its technology patents and seeking licensing agreements with producers of wood in place. In 2002, after two years of trying to involve manufacturers agree that they are not willing to give his invention and should decide to return to the practice of law or to start a business to produce saws himself.
