Safe Water Project Improving Access to Safe Water Through Innovative Sales and Distribution Models case solution
This instance offers a summary of the nonprofit organization PATH and its Safe Water Project-a five-year effort which initiated in the year 2006 with $17 million in funds from the global development unit of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. The goal of the grant was to review to what extent market-based strategies may assist speed up the prevalent adoption and continual usage of home water treatment and safe storage products by low income people. One of the main goals of the team was to request sales and supply confrontations in this space. By running a portfolio of field-based aviators, the team anticipated to scrutinize different versions for enhancing customer access to these safe water products in an attempt to recognize sustainable, scalable, and replicable solutions.
