Peninsula Investment Group is to decide whether or not to recapitalize an interest in a Residencial Los Andes, a residential project in Santiago, Chile, or take a substantial loss. The project did not achieve its sales targets and the bank puts pressure on investors to pay off the construction loan. From the beginning, the peninsula of Chile had identified a target market, however, invest in Residential Los Andes, who had made several exceptions to its investment strategy. The case focuses on what happened in the evolution of the project, what steps to take if the peninsula is not increasing the commitment of capital.
