Reconfiguring Stroke Care in North Central London Case Solution & Answer

In 2006, a surgeon Ara Darzi has identified several key areas, including acute stroke care, to improve health care across London. In response to your call to action seminal race attention has been reorganized around eight hyper acute stroke units, covering five areas of London, replacing more than thirty units previously delivered acute stroke care. This case outlines the deployment of the new model of care in the north of central London, where the care of acute stroke was fragmented into five acute trusts with different care resources, capabilities and protocols. In the new model, stroke care between institutions would be delivered in an integrated manner with a single hyperacute center manager to handle the most acute and severe.
