Marissa Mayer was invited to reflect on the factors that had an impact on Google’s ability to innovate and adapt their strategy to the organization to remain one of the greatest leaders in the world of technology. In an industry (and company) has been changing and growing exponentially, it would be difficult to identify specific variables and trends. As Mayer considered how to ensure this, we found that women currently represent only a small fraction of Google engineers, suggesting a missed opportunity.
