Lotz of Food: The Perishable Team (A) Case Solution & Answer

How can facilitate change in a mission long into a new vision in a restructuring of the organization? Ernesto Gomez, director of food Lotz for organizational development, a grocery store based in California, has been invited to assist in the transition team perishable unit hierarchical role-based business which is more dynamic, versatile and proactive. Expectations were high and went from the top of the organization. Case A shows the steps Gómez need to understand the problems. Among the issues on the development team, Gomez is conflicted about the lack of diversity among the leaders of the organization, and even the whole team. More worrying is the apparent lack of organization of the recognition of this fact – as Gomez wonders if his own background was a more important issue than it really is. In the case of B, Gomez becomes more concerned about how you think your own prejudices and past experiences determine how you see the situation.
