Keystone XL Pipeline Case Solution & Answer

January 18, 2012, President Obama rejected TransCanada’s request for a decision of “national interest” to approve the Keystone XL oil pipeline. Keystone XL was 1.700 miles long pipeline 36 inches in diameter to transport 1.1 million barrels per day of Alberta Canada (oil shale and Montana) of heavy crude in the U.S. Gulf Coast . But the environmental community in America had focused all their resources on stopping Keystone XL – for them, a symbol of the negation of the nation to address climate change. Now head of Keystone had to understand what was wrong, and decide what to do in order to get approval from the project.
