Rich people do not just have better toys, have better nutrition and better medical care, more free time and more meaningful labor-more about all the ingredients in the recipe for a happy life. However, research shows that they are not yet much happier than those with less. If money can buy happiness, then why not? The authors argue that the five principles apply to the equation of money / happiness, including buying experiences instead of things “and” you help others instead of yourself. Ultimately, show that money can buy many things that make us happy, and if not, the fault is ours.
