In the year 2011, HCLT ERS, a department of HCL Technologies, a worldwide IT services corporation headquartered in New Delhi, India, had to formulate next year’s strategy for the Engineering Out Of The Box (EOOTB) company theory that it had started in 2009, which transformed the department’s ability to create “16 productized options” and to employ new and old customers in new sales services. The productized options were greatly reliant upon IT platform-based services and solutions. The EVP, Worldwide Sales, Engineering and Research Services (ERS), HCL Technologies, as well as the EOOTB team must think about the possible user experiences that ERS could gain from EOOTB in combination with its clients and its own ecosystems (associates, collaborators, third party suppliers).
