Since the 2010 earthquake, the Executive Director of the Foundation for International Development Assistance (FIDA) achieved explosion in demand for economic development in Haiti, the community and the Canadian International Development. While there is plenty of money available for earthquake relief and microfinance, and was much less available for sustainable economic development in the long term. IFAD has an additional $ 2,000,000 over the next three years to support projects that had been approved by IFAD and its partner in Haiti, production cooperatives Haiti (PCH). IFAD had to find investors who understand and embrace the unique vision, principles and methods of FIDA / PCH.
