From the literature on self-presentation, changing head member (LMX) and development networks, we try to explain how employees may react to a request “friend” on Facebook from your supervisor and why it can react Thus. We then examine the comments of the blog to see how people feel about these requests and determine whether their observations support one of the above theoretical frameworks. We conclude with suggestions on how Facebook can be used in the workplace.
