Evolving Role of Semiconductor Consortia in the United States and Japan Case Solution
This article examines the interactions between public and private actors as alliance in the to-be- international semiconductor industry. The most recent expressions of multilateral cooperation are two consortia: I300I based in America and Selete based in Japan. Through an investigation of their arrangements and their beginnings, this article provides a deeper comprehension of the complexities facing business-wide consortia, the part of the government in encouraging or inhibiting cooperation, and the lingering competitions that impede truly global co-operation in a dynamic, high technology business.
