In late December 2010, most emerging markets are struggling to contain the appreciation of their currencies, then maybe the monetary crisis is not likely in the foreseeable future. But conditions can change quickly. The UK in 1992 and Hong Kong in 1998: This case different types of currency crises and two in particular are discussed. These are two very different types of crises, and understand the protagonist could serve well when future crises.
