PUBLICATION DATE: April 15, 2011 PRODUCT #: W11098-PDF-ENG
The creator of Lakkard Leather Company has headed the firm for 24 years. He credits much of its own success to his own leadership style, which did not allow for anyone else’s involvement in determinations of material, and is pleased with his company. His son stepped in and kept the company going, when he was injured in an automobile crash.
With no intent the son transformed operations and the direction of the organization in the space of a month or two, the business had shifted, so that by the time the creator returned and his function was reduced. The son, in the interim, considered he did a better job than his dad and grew to enjoy his interim place.
