Quantitative methods offer the ability to answer questions in an organized manner. These methods are utilized by scientists, business managers, and teachers all over the world. They are typically employed to solve quantitative problems that have limited resolution.

But as I said before, qualitative methods are often employed to provide data to solve an extremely large number of questions. Students use these methods in the classroom to be able to present and analyze data in a non-technical manner. They are used by stock brokers and accountants to come up with effective investment strategies.

All of these methods are helpful. Students will appreciate having them available for easy access. Because of the way the methods are designed, a student is more likely to comprehend the quantitative information they are seeing.

Using qualitative methods will increase the students’ ability to relate to the case study and to come up with proper answers to the questions that have been presented.

Finally, teachers should realize that they can provide a problem and ask students to come up with an answer. They can use quantitative methods and get their results directly from students, providing a perfect analogy to the case study solution. Using these methods will help students build their ability to understand quantitative methods and come up with clear, logical solutions.
