In learning organizations as well as the related changes it brings cannot be coerced. People who act as “learning champions” within an organization must be convinced of the advantages of the learning initiative themselves so they can take the “favorable” message to their teams and become essential facilitators and enablers within the organization. Otherwise, their team members can be influenced by their negativity, particularly when the team members are not sold on the initiative in the very first place.
