Business Process Outsourcing at Apollo Health Street Case Solution

The CEO of Apollo Health Street (AHS), a company business process outsourcing health (BPO) based in Pennsylvania, USA, reflected two dilemmas: to ensure growth in the short term for business, and find new ways to compete in a changing industry. AHS was itself a subsidiary of Apollo Health Enterprises Ltd (AHEL), a company of comprehensive health care based in Hyderabad, in southern India. AHS had increased to 80 the percent compound annual growth rate (CAGR) since 2005 to reach 100 million in sales in March 2010. It aimed to increase annual sales of $ 500 million over three years in a very competitive space, which if successful would move AHS in the first three BPO companies in the health sector. How should ensure growth in the short term? The second dilemma was how to plan for the future. Industry analysts had predicted that in the next five to 10 years, healthcare BPO become unrecognizable from its current form. The Director General said that despite the intensification of strengthening the position of the company in the short term, the company should also be looking for ways to stay relevant to the customer. How should AHS influences shape healthcare BPO in the future? What new ways to compete with the company could continue?
