He understands the success of the reorganization will depend on successful collaboration, by looking at a conventional organizational chart but he cannot get a sense of what collaborative relationships do and do not exist. Gulas uses ONA, a procedure for mapping relationships among individuals in a group. In the ONA results, Gulas sees a group constrained by hierarchy and other differences in connectivity and fragmented by geography. The network is presented by the B case -building measures Gulas took on the basis of the ONA results and the results of a followup ONA Gulas ran after the first evaluation. This second ONA shown a network that was more suitably linked and more powerful in various manners.
